Happy and light summer songs

Up all night is the debut album of a british boy band called One Direction. The band originally had five members: Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik. Up all night was published November 18th 2011 in the UK and the genre is Pop. The album was a huge success and sold over 5 million copies worldwide in 2012. It also was on top of the billboard in many countries including the USA.

The album consists of 13 songs. The general vibe is very light and happy and the main theme on the album is love and relationships; a boy band classic. The songs are different in tempo and style but still talk about the same subject. My favourite one has to be the first song called “What makes you beautiful”. It really lifts my spirits and makes me feel happy and energised. All of the songs are very fun to listen to and most of them are also very catchy. 

My favourite thing about the album is that it brings back good memories from the early 2010s when I listened to One Direction for the first time.The memories are also the reason why I chose this album. This album is my absolute go-to in the summer when I just want to be happy and carefree. It's definitely not everyones cup of tea but in my opinion everyone needs a boyband moment sometimes.
